Romans 1:28, "Since these people refused to think about God, he let their useless minds rule over them. That's why they do all sorts of indecent things." 
Romans 3:11-18, "Not one of them understands or even searches for God. All have turned away; all have become useless. There isn't one person who does right. Their words are like an open pit, and their tongues are suitable only for telling lies. Each word is as deadly as the fangs of a snake, and they say nothing but bitter curses. These people quickly become violent. Wherever they go, they leave ruin and destruction. They don't know how to live in peace. They don't even fear God."

"I am a Christian" has been reduced to people living immoral lives without fear of consequences. Jude 1:4, "Some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God's marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." 
Romans 16:17-18 states, "Watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way... Keep away from them. Such people are not serving our Lord Christ but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the minds of naive people."

Jesus never called the people Christians! The people called themselves Christians! "I am a Christian" is primarily narcissistic men's and women's self-centered interpretations and agendas with little "white" Jesus' name stamped in the bottom, barely readable corner. The narcissistic Christian leaders (i.e., pastors, preachers, televangelists, politicians, media) keep their simple-minded base entertained and hemorrhaging cash, checks, and credit cards by telling the stupid people "want their itching ears want to hear," such as "WHITE AMERICAN JESUS," which is IGNORANCE 101 (Jesus is a Jew), SEGREGATION, ROE V. WADE, MORAL MAJORITY, THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT, CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM, KKK, WHITE CHRISTIANITY, DIVISION, LIES, DIVISIVE POLITICS, REPUBLICANS ARE CHRISTIANS; DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL, RACISM, HATRED, VIOLENCE, CHRISTIAN HOPE, CHRISTIAN BLESSINGS, PROSPERITY GOSPEL and on and on.  
Since most Christians ignorantly follow the devil's disciples' (i.e., pastors, preachers, televangelists, politicians, media) divisive plans instead of fulfilling Jesus' purpose for coming to earth, thus denying Jesus, they will be shocked, puzzled, and uncontrollably upset when they discover that "I AM A CHRISTIAN" is NOT the ticket to enter heaven. Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On the day of judgment, many will call me their Lord. They will say, "We preached in your name, and in your name, we forced out demons and worked many miracles." But I will tell them, "I will have nothing to do with you! Get out of my sight, you evil people!" 

2 Timothy 3:1-5 best describes today's "I am a Christian": "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-having a form of godliness but denying its power. Therefore, have nothing to do with such people..." 
Unfortunately, the world ignorantly believes "I am a Christian" represents Jesus. Therefore, because "I am a Christian" exemplifies lies, division, racism, hatred, ignorance, and simple-mindedness, the world refuses to accept Jesus because THEY DO NOT want to be like Christians.
WARNING: Today, "I am a Christian " affects God's Kingdom growth rate. What God allowed yesterday angers Him today!
Matthew 23:3-4, "Do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. Instead, they pile heavy burdens on people's shoulders and won't lift a finger to help. 
Matthew 15:14​, "Let them alone; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit."
