God's grace does not cover sin.

Warning: Woefully, many Christians listen to ungodly preachers and believe God's grace is a license to sin.

​"Some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God's marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." -Jude 1:4 
"God's law was given so all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God's wonderful grace became more abundant" -Romans 5:20
"Well then, since God's grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!" -Romans 6:15 
NOTICE: God's grace does not cover sin. God's grace ELIMINATES the excuse to sin. As people sinned more and more, God's wonderful grace became MORE abundant (even greater or richer supply) to RESIST the temptations of sin. Consequently, God eliminated people's excuses to sin when He gave people the authority or power to resist the desires of sin. 
"When people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. The Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil." -I John 3:8
